Use the circumference to approximate the floor space of the ballloon to the closest sq. centimeter.
1. Assume the balloon is spherical.
2. Rearrange and use C=2*pi*r to search out the radius of the balloon.
3. Use A=4*pi*r^2 to search out the floor space.
I imagine the formulation for floor space of a sphere is 4Pir^2. To seek out the radius, use C=2Pir, so 23=2Pir and Pir = 23/2 =11.5. Then r=11.5/Pi = 3.66. So 4Pir^2 = 168.36cm
