Since the lightning actually shoots UP from the ground to the sky and since the WHOLE PHENOMENA of lightning can only be properly observed from space Youre watching reverse or anti-grounding that is ultimately created by the earths magnetic field acting as a spinning dynamo, making the answer C and Im being a wuss about this because there is no COMPLETE scientific understanding of lightning. Not yet. We dont fully understand it and cant harness it. If we did and could, thered be no energy crisis and maybe no polllution problem in the world.
Grounding. If you mean grounding is the process in which electric current is transfered to earth. During ligntinig the excessive electrons present in the clouds are transfered to the ground.
