eg. tan(16.69924423) = 0.3
tan (376.6992242) = 0.3

.
etc.
>x=tan^-1(0.3)
>x=16.699 answer
Use your calculator, enter tan(0.3) into your calculator.
[or use a log book if you are required to]
tan x = 0.3
x = 16.69924423
= 16.7 (to 3 SF)
Add in any subsequent 360 to your answer eg. 376.6 those can be other possible values of x. Check your answer by entering tan(ANS) into your calculator.
eg. tan(16.69924423) = 0.3
tan (376.6992242) = 0.3
.
.
.
etc.
