There are some cultural attributes that are different but not in a way that one is superior to another (for instance, France, Italy, Japan, and Thailand all have vastly different culinary cultures, but none is superior or inferior to another peoples tastes just acclimate to the ones with which theyre familiar).

I suppose we can never really know whos right though I mean, there will be people in other countries who think the number of abortions in Western countries is just as barbaric as we think forced marriage in their country is.

Answer 7

False.

Our Nature temps us all with savagery. The measure of a civilization is how strongly it can resist those temptations. Modern feminists (and pretty much all progressives) prefer to embrace our savagery while pretending to be sophisticated. They reduce society to a collection of gorillas in top hats.

So, while its true that a culture can be different without being superior or inferior, its also true that a culture can be different in a way that makes it superior or inferior to another.

Mainly false. I think there are practices which should universally be considered savage and uncivilised. Any culture which promotes violence or treats certain groups of people inhumanely is uncivilised. There are basic rights and a standard of living that everyone should have.

Well our definition of a civilized person would not be a savage person would it
Maybe the PC brigade have changed this meaning of the word civilized also without my knowledge.

No. Some social models simply dont work, while others do. Cultures are not created equally just because people are.
