It depends on the variety, but no. If you look under the ground, there is one plant per root system, so there is often a large bunch of blades of grass coming out of the one plant. Its arguable in some grasses though because each plant has a root system but there are fine roots joining them (They spread underground and sprout a new plant while the original one feeds it) You can separate them and both will grow just fine but Id call that one plant.

Im almost positive that it would just be referred to as the grass. Grass is a word much like deer or fish that doesnt have two different plural/singular forms.
Walt Whitman was fond of leaves of grass and the part of the grass plant above the soil is, technically a leaf.
