It seems to me that the poem is about falling in love, the importance of love to individuals and its inevitable irrelevance to the world outside of the relationships immediate participants. Because poetry is very visually descriptive, it would be easiest to focus on each stanza individually and create a photo from it. For instance, for the first stanza you could photograph Valentine hearts, lips or a closeup of the bubbles in a glass of golden champagne. One of the best lines of this poem: he is singing to her and his voice is a small boy turning somersaults in the green country of his blood
Haze is a phenomenon of dry air, mist formation, humid air and factors of dust and smoke and pollution. It is most noticed in the summer, which impaires visibility to see clearly (aka smog)
Summers in Los Angeles is a good example of summer haze.
I grew up with the Purple Haze of Rock N Roll.
