You sure are sue happy. I believe you asked for a report but for the wrong reason. The officer will not take a report so you can sue a company civilly. He has to take the report because someone is using your identity to obtain services. Go back when a different shift is working, explain to the dispatcher or desk Sgt or whomever you talked to that you need to file an identity theft report. Also, go to your states attorney generals website. There is tons of info on how your state handles id theft. DO NOT mention anything about a civil lawsuit to a cop. We dont care and dont want to hear about it. We deal with criminal, not civil.
