Is this picture realy! (fat army guy vs marine) [Solved]

I can guarantee that the Soldier in that picture didnt join the Army that big. He obviously gained the weight sometime after getting past basic and AIT. Ive seen Soldiers that big before; some of them intentionally gained weight in hopes that they would get kicked out instead of deploying. I knew one guy just like that, he gained a ton of weight on purpose and failed his APFT by several minutes but he still had to deploy.

Like it or loathe the idea, horseradish, which comes from identical family as wasabi, can actually assist you dissolve your fat and discourage hunger pangs, claim researchers in the University of Copenhagen. Spread slightly on your sarnies, instead of ones usual ketchup, for a weight losing effect.

You have no idea as to whether the soldier had just been recalled from IRR (inactive ready reserve) after being out for a couple of years. Some fat Marines have also been recalled after becoming civilianized

The photos real. This guy clearly does not meet the Army fitness standards. But the Army was not willing to let anybody out of the Army in 2005-2007 because there were so many deployments going on. Before that time period and even now, if you got fat, and refuse to shape up, they would kick you out. Some people tried getting fat on purpose so they wouldnt have to stay in. It was called Food for Freedom as a joke among soldiers. Theyve tightened the rules back up now. This guy would be outta there.

Army has been cutting back on fat. They are giving my brother a hard time reinlisting because he is over weight. He is in Iraq now trying to lose weight while over there.
